Animation Style

Since this project has a strict deadline, you are encouraged to make your part as complex as you deem feasible. Limited animation is optimal but not required. Pick a part that corresponds to how much effort you're willing to put in per the time allotted.

Shading is optional.

It's extremely important that the palette is followed as closely as possible.

Include the codeword 'hey' in your comment along with the codephrase from the Signup Details slide.

Part Formatting

• 16x9 aspect ratio: common pixel formats are 1440x720, 1920x1080, 2880x1620, and 3840x2160. The final project will be in 4K.
• At least 24fps. The final project will be 60fps.
• Try your best to match the colors as exact as possible. If they're too far off, your part will be edited.
• No personal watermarks (they will be added to the final project)
• No program watermarks
• High quality background music is not required
• Green/Blue screen is allowed (but stay away from red screen)

Submitting your part

Upload your final part to MyAirBridge via the 'Send Files Via Link' option and include this link when you submit your part to Discord and/or in the description of your video. Do not put the link in a comment.

It is preferred that your submitted part is either exactly as long as the part shown in the call video or a bit longer, without any extra cutoffs.

The version you upload to YouTube does not need to be identical to this one. You can add cutoffs and watermarks to the version on YT if you'd like.

Refer to these examples for how to color your part, but refer to the palette image to pick your color.

Various Rules

• Characters are colored in grayscale. There is no color on characters, not even the palette color, except for the eyes.
• Color eyes with their original colors.
• Blood and effects are done with your palette color.
• You can only use one palette color in your part, and it must be the one shown in the MAP call during your part.
• For parts 19 and 20, the entire part is grayscale aside from the character's eyes. Refer to the MAP call.

Due Dates

You have three weeks from your acceptance date to finish your part. Extensions can be given if a valid WIP is provided. While I won't let your work go to waste, I must be strict enough to ensure the MAP's timely completion.

As Halloween gets closer, due dates will get weird. In a perfect world, all parts will be done by the 28th. If it is less than three weeks until the 28th, the 28th is your permanent deadline. Don't join if you don't think you'll finish.

Discord

This MAP has a Discord sever so contact is easier, since this is a very time sensitive project. Joining is optional but highly recommended. You can post WIPs and ask questions more easily through the server.

Comment Formatting

This is not first come first served, the channel you comment with will be searched for your animation experience. I will be extra particular with who gets parts 19-20. Explaining your part increases your acceptance chances.

In your comment, iclude the codephrase 'tomorrow's news will just pass by' if you have a pink part; 'your words ain't worth your lullabies' if you have an orange part; or 'la la la la' if your part is in full grayscale. Your comment will be disregarded if this codephrase is incorrect or absent.

You can have up to two parts.
